I design, I code, and I make music. The interesting problems tend to live in the space between them.

Most of my career has been making complicated technology feel obvious. Lately that means figuring out where AI genuinely belongs, and where it's just noise.

Led product and engineering for the relaunch of a 25-year electronic music publication, modernizing the platform, preserving the archive, and supporting a large global readership.

Why I care

Music keeps my taste honest.

I produce, DJ, and perform audio-visual sets, and I've run a monthly residency for fifteen years. It's where I stay close to actual audiences and remember that the best work gets felt before it gets explained.

My solo alias as a DJ and music producer. Original productions rooted in downtempo, trip-hop, and house, plus DJ sets built around global soul, folk, and groove, including a monthly four-hour residency at the Mar Vista Farmers Market for over 15 years.

SADUBAS

An audio-visual performance act I co-founded with a longtime collaborator. South Asian-influenced electronic music and live visuals, performed everywhere from the Academy Museum to LACMA and the Hammer.
